The leadership of Transvaal Orange Grove Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist church from South Africa visited Solusi University and paid fifty percent of tuition fees for their students who are studying at Solusi University in the Theology department.
This development comes as a way to alleviate the challenges being faced by students who are studying at the institution especially Theology students who have few or no sponsors at all. The conference President, Ps Mongwe and the Executive secretary Ps Danxa took time to drive for more than 900km and show their love and support to the upcoming pastors.
However, Ps Mongwe made it clear that the payment of the fees for Solusi students was out of love and not a mandate as Solusi University is not in the South African Union. “The reason why we are paying this fees is that we have our student pastors at heart.” Said Pastor Mongwe. “We do realise that finances are not okay everywhere but we took this time to ensure that our students are well taken care of.”
In response, Pastor Collen Mahlangu the Public Relations officer thanked the Trans Orange Conference on behalf of Solusi University for making such a huge contribution to Solusi University.
